In 1995, HAVOQUE started shaping the "Triomftocht voor de glorie van Wodan" demo, released in 1999.
Moving to Canada in 2003, he teamed up with drummer KRIEG. In 2015 Heidens Hart Records released "Stormvloek". A split with MIGHT then saw the light, followed by the EP's "Onderaards" in 2018 and "IJzertijd" in 2022.
Heidenland's style is rooted in 80s and 90s black metal.
