In 1995, HAVOQUE started shaping the "Triomftocht voor de glorie van Wodan" demo, released in
1999.
Moving to Canada in 2003, he teamed up with drummer KRIEG. In 2015 Heidens Hart Records released "Stormvloek". A split with MIGHT then saw the light, followed by the EP's "Onderaards" in 2018 and "IJzertijd" in 2022.
Heidenland's style is rooted in 80s and 90s black metal.

One Thousand Years Of The Wolf, seconde démo de Kommodus, est aussi belliqueux que la première. Si elle a été composée pendant une période d'angoisse et d'instabilité mentale, Lepidus Plague, au lieu de serrer les dents, hurle à gorge déployée ("Beyond Hadrian's Wall" est phénoménal pour ça). Les riffs sont impitoyables et ne concède pas de terrain. Bref mais excellent !
